So, I wondered, just what, exactly, have I posted about... well...
(The most popular of which are these Baby Boy Shower Cake Pops.)
15 of those posts are about Cupcakes.
125! of those posts contain some reference to Icing.
21 of those posts talk about or use Icing Bag Bullets.
95 of those posts refer to sugar. (Who's surprised??)
Only 80 refer to butter! (Not bad.)

I like this blog because, well, you are fabulous and amazing at this stuff. You taught me how to decorate a cake (which is no small thing) and all sorts of useful stuff about fondant. Congrats on 200 posts!
ReplyDeleteWow, 200 posts! You've been very busy. Thanks to yourBlog and talents; my family and friends have become the Lucy taste testers of my adventures in cookie making wih royal icing. It has been a lot of fun. I have a lot to learn and am happy to have found your site as a resource!

Shared your post on my facebook page... really love those icing bullets!
ReplyDeleteYAY 200 POSTS! I always share your blog for good recipes and Gio's baptism party featured your recipes: banana split cupcakes and caramel apple cake, both VERY popular. Still, the recipe I use most is royal icing. Homemade (and delicious) frosting makes any dessert taste like you spent all week preparing it!
ReplyDeleteYou have taught me bullets, fondant, royal icing, cake pops, but best of all from you i have learned to have fun with decorating and not to just rush through it to get it done. so thanks for all you do. diana clarke and i don't need the cookies.
ReplyDeleteI have made your Most Outrageous Chocolate Cake Ever and the mini hand held pies. Both received rave reviews from family. I'm going to try the cherry pie next. Thank you for the recipes.
ReplyDeleteI use your cake doctoring tricks almost every week!
