Pretzel "Turtle" Candies

These treats are very easy to make, even when the kids are involved.

What You Need:
Pretzels (I prefer the "pounders")
Rolo Candies
Pecan Halves (Toast them if you wish. Click the link to see how to toast the nuts in my snowball cookie recipe.)

This is really the easiest treat. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. And spread pretzels around the pan. (Or let the kids do it.)

Unwrap the Rolo candies (or let the kids do it)...

...and set them on top of the pretzels (or let the kids do it).

Put the pan into a 350-degree oven for 2-3 minutes. (You really do want it to be rimmed because these things slide around a lot.)

When the candies get soft, 2 minutes would have been perfect. I did 3 minutes here and they were a little too melty.

Let them cool. And they store at room temperature in an airtight container for weeks.
